About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and dedicated Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their safety surveillance team, working remotely. This role is essential for ensuring the safety of patients by monitoring, collecting, and analyzing adverse event data for pharmaceutical products. You will play a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance, reporting safety information to health authorities, and contributing to risk management strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and document adverse event reports from various sources (e.g., healthcare professionals, patients, literature).
• Conduct initial assessment and determine the seriousness and causality of reported adverse events.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety data to regulatory authorities worldwide.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and risk management plans (RMPs).
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs) on safety-related matters.
• Stay updated on global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Thorough understanding of global drug safety regulations (e.g., GVP, FDA regulations).
• Experience with pharmacovigilance databases and safety reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
