Pharmacovigilance Officer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a vigilant and experienced Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their dedicated safety team. This role, conducted entirely remotely, is pivotal in ensuring the safety of our client's pharmaceutical products post-marketing. You will be responsible for collecting, assessing, and reporting adverse event data to regulatory authorities, thereby contributing significantly to patient safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and process adverse event reports from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct case narrative writing and perform signal detection activities to identify potential safety issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and risk management plans (RMPs).
• Maintain compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and company SOPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Pharmacovigilance or drug safety within the Pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Solid understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and reporting requirements.
• Experience with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ArisG) and adverse event case processing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
