Pharmacovigilance Officer

In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring the safety of pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring patient safety by identifying, assessing, and reporting adverse events. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and evaluate adverse event reports from various sources (e.g., healthcare professionals, patients, clinical studies).
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety information to regulatory authorities according to relevant guidelines.
• Conduct signal detection activities to identify potential new safety issues associated with pharmaceutical products.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and risk management plans (RMPs).
• Maintain and update the pharmacovigilance database with accurate and complete safety information.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Medical, Regulatory, Clinical) on safety-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• In-depth knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting requirements (e.g., GVP, FDA regulations).
• Experience with safety databases and adverse event reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating safety data.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
