Pharmacovigilance Specialist

About the Role

Our client, a growing international pharmaceutical company , is seeking a diligent Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their safety surveillance team. This role will be based in Bradford , focusing on the critical task of monitoring and reporting adverse events associated with their medicinal products. You will play a key role in ensuring patient safety by meticulously collecting, assessing, and documenting safety information, and contributing to the company's compliance with global regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and assess adverse event reports from various sources, including healthcare professionals, patients, and literature.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of safety information to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain the pharmacovigilance database with updated safety information.
• Participate in the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and other regulatory safety submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Clinical, Medical Affairs) to investigate safety signals.
• Stay current with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
• Previous experience in Pharmacovigilance or drug safety is highly desirable.
• Understanding of GVP (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices) and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
