About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their safety surveillance team, supporting operations from Bradford . This role is essential for monitoring the safety profiles of pharmaceutical products and ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations. You will be responsible for collecting, assessing, and reporting adverse event data, contributing to the safety of patients who use our client's medications. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with global safety teams while maintaining a connection to the office environment in Bradford .

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and document adverse event reports from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Perform signal detection activities to identify potential new safety concerns related to pharmaceutical products.
• Prepare and submit regulatory safety reports (e.g., SUSARs, DSURs) within established timelines.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, and internal departments on safety-related matters.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of pharmacovigilance procedures and training materials.
• Participate in safety risk management activities and contribute to risk management plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with adverse event databases and safety reporting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
