We’re recruiting for an established specialist supplier serving the construction and manufacturing sectors, looking for a Phone-Based Sales Executive to join its close-knit team in Norwich.

This is an opportunity to combine customer service, relationship building and sales in a varied role where great service matters more than aggressive targets.

What will you be doing?

• Managing customer enquiries by phone and email

• Sourcing products, preparing quotations and processing orders

• Building relationships and developing existing accounts

• Identifying upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities

• Reconnecting with lapsed customers

• Negotiating with suppliers and resolving customer queries

What are we looking for?

• Someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems and spotting opportunities.

• You’ll have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, commercial awareness and a proactive approach.

• Experience within nuts, bolts, fixings, fasteners or similar industrial supplies is highly preferred. Experience in internal sales, account management or customer service is essential - and within a related industry would also be advantageous.

• You’ll be confident building customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and taking ownership of enquiries from start to finish.
