Physics Teacher (incl A Level)

Physics Teacher (A-Level)

North Bradford | Permanent | January 2027

Not all Physics teachers want the same thing.

Some want a school where behaviour doesn't dominate every conversation.

Some want Sixth Form classes that actually choose to be there.

Some want to spend less time firefighting and more time teaching the subject they love.

If that sounds familiar, this opportunity could be exactly what you're looking for.

We're working with a high-performing secondary school in North Bradford that has built a reputation for academic excellence, strong leadership, and a culture where learning genuinely comes first. With consistently strong outcomes and a growing Sixth Form, they're looking to appoint a Physics specialist who can teach through to A-Level from January 2027.

This is a school where students ask questions, value education, and are encouraged to think beyond the specification. Physics is a popular subject, STEM is a real strength, and the Science department is collaborative, well-resourced and ambitious.

What you'll be doing

Teaching Physics across KS3, KS4 and A-Level. Challenging students to think critically and solve complex problems. Supporting high-achieving students as they prepare for university and STEM careers. Contributing to a department that values innovation, collaboration and subject expertise. Playing a role in enrichment activities, STEM events and the wider life of the school.

What they're looking for

A qualified Physics teacher with QTS. The ability to teach Physics confidently through to A-Level. Someone who enjoys their subject and can bring it to life in the classroom. High expectations of themselves and their students. A team player who wants to contribute to an already successful department.

What makes this role different?

✔ A school with a strong academic culture and excellent outcomes. ✔ Students who are engaged, respectful and genuinely ambitious. ✔ A-Level groups that are well-established and growing. ✔ Leadership that trusts teachers and supports professional growth. ✔ A permanent opportunity in a school where staff tend to stay.

Physics changes the way students see the world. This is a chance to teach it in a school that still believes knowledge, curiosity and ambition matter.

Apply now for a January 2027 start.
