Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder and Fabricator for a dynamic 6 to 7-week contract opportunity. Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding and welding techniques to join metal components with accuracy and consistency

• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and piping materials

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and assembly

• Measure, mark, and layout materials using basic math skills for accurate cuts and welds

• Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated parts to meet safety standards and project requirements

• Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within the designated timeframe

Skills

• Proficiency in TIG welding, with experience in welding preferred

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and piping systems

• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of assembly techniques

• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately

• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work

• Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, fabrication, and industrial work environments
