About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Plant Manager to lead their industrial manufacturing facility in Bristol . This senior role carries full responsibility for all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, safety, efficiency, and financial performance. You will be instrumental in driving operational improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the plant meets its strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive experience in managing complex manufacturing environments and a proven track record of success in driving profitability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant operations, including production, engineering, maintenance, logistics, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets, cost efficiencies, and quality standards.
- Manage the plant budget, P&L, and capital expenditure to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the plant management team and all site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive initiatives for process improvement, operational efficiency, and technological upgrades.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in plant management or senior operations leadership within an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated success in P&L management and budget control.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
