Plant Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to lead their manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton . This senior leadership role carries full responsibility for all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality, finance, and human resources. You will be tasked with driving operational excellence, achieving strategic business objectives, and fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is a key position for a proven leader looking to make a substantial impact in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficient and safe production in line with company targets and standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant performance, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
• Manage the plant budget, P&L, and capital expenditure projects effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant's management team and workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Significant experience (10+ years) in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a Plant Manager or similar senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of operational excellence, cost reduction, and P&L responsibility.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean manufacturing , and quality systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management.
