Are you passionate about helping children develop confidence, resilience, and positive behaviours?

A specialist SEMH primary school in Haywards Heath is looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with pupils who need additional emotional and behavioural support to access learning and thrive in school.

The Role:

• Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs throughout the school day
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Building trusted relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and supported
• Working alongside teachers to promote engagement in learning
• Supporting social skills, confidence, and independence

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND, autism, ADHD, or challenging behaviour is desirable
• Calm, patient, and resilient with a positive outlook
• Confident building strong relationships with young children
• Passionate about making a lasting difference in children's lives
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location
