Key Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and commission protective relaying schemes for power systems.
• Perform fault calculations and analyse system disturbances to optimise protection settings.
• Develop and maintain protection philosophies and coordination studies.
• Collaborate with design engineers and project managers on new infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site investigations and provide technical support for existing protection systems.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in power system protection technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in power system protection engineering, including relay application and testing.
• Proficiency in power system simulation software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E).
