Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns.
• Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, and other PR content.
• Build and nurture relationships with journalists and media contacts within the region and nationally.
• Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interview requests.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR activities and their impact.
• Support the organization of press events and client media activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a PR or communications role, with a focus on media relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR databases.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A passion for public relations and media engagement, with knowledge of the Sheffield business landscape.
