About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and resourceful PR Officer to join their team in Sheffield . This role is integral to executing public relations activities that support the company's communication goals and enhance its public image. You will work closely with the PR Manager to manage media relations, develop compelling content, and assist in the planning and execution of PR campaigns. Key Responsibilities

• Support the PR Manager in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns.
• Assist in managing relationships with media contacts, responding to inquiries, and pitching stories.
• Draft press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media content.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on campaign performance and brand mentions.
• Help organize and coordinate press events, briefings, and other PR activities.
• Conduct research on industry news, trends, and competitor activities.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic PR tools.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in media and public relations.
• Relevant degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism.
