About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Precision Agriculture Specialist to join their progressive farming enterprise in Northern Ireland . You will be responsible for implementing and managing precision farming techniques , including GPS guidance, variable rate application, remote sensing, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural science combined with expertise in modern agricultural technology and data interpretation. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage precision agriculture systems, including GPS guidance, auto-steer, and section control.
• Utilize drones , satellite imagery, and sensor data for crop monitoring, soil analysis, and yield prediction.
• Manage and interpret large datasets generated from farm operations to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Configure and calibrate equipment for variable rate applications of fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds.
• Provide training and technical support to farm staff on the use of precision agriculture equipment and software.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in agricultural technology and recommend suitable innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with precision agriculture technologies and farm management software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex agricultural data.
• Familiarity with GIS software, drone operation, and remote sensing technologies.
• Excellent communication and training skills to effectively support farm staff.
• Understanding of crop physiology and agronomic principles.
