Prevention Service Manager - Education & Awareness

Helping Hands Community Trust is a local charity at an exciting time of growth, and we are looking for a Service Manager to lead and develop our prevention work, supporting children, young people and adults to build financial wellbeing, confidence and essential life skills.

Our vision is a community where every person has the confidence, tools and opportunities to thrive, free from poverty, deprivation and isolation.

Our mission is to provide free, independent and non-judgmental advice that tackles the root causes of hardship. We listen with care, give people the time and space they need, and offer clear, practical steps to help them move forward. We believe everyone deserves equal access to support, and we work alongside people for as long as they need us.

Working closely with our Head of Service and CEO, you will play a key role in developing and leading this growing area of work, helping us deliver engaging prevention, education and awareness activities that make a real difference to individuals, families and our wider community.

We are a friendly, down-to-earth charity looking for the right person to help shape our next chapter. In return, we offer a generous holiday package of 25 days + 8 days statutory holidays, increasing with length of service, birthday leave, volunteer leave and, most importantly, the opportunity to be part of something wonderful and make a real difference in our local community.

THIS WILL BE A 2-STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS AND WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR STAGE 1 INTERVIEW ON 28TH OCTOBER 2026.

STAGE 2 INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD ON 30TH OCTOBER 2026 AND/OR 2ND NOVEMBER.2026.

1ST STAGE INTERVIEWS WILL BE OFFERED TO SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES ON 26TH OCTOBER 2026.
