Primary School Teacher - Key Stage 2

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to lead a Key Stage 2 class within a vibrant learning community in Southampton . This role involves creating an inspiring and supportive classroom environment where young learners can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, fostering a love for learning, and ensuring the development of essential skills in preparation for secondary education, all within a well-established and nurturing school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, meeting the diverse needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that promotes active learning and student well-being.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils in line with school policies.
• Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development.
• Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Contribute actively to the wider life and ethos of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Bachelor of Education) and relevant experience teaching at Key Stage 2 .
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for primary education.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young children.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
