Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, adapting to the needs of all learners.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils in line with school policies.
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that promotes curiosity, participation, and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil well-being and educational outcomes.
• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, participating in extracurricular activities and staff development initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching within the primary education sector, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
