Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum, adhering to national standards.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils using various methods.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
• Manage pupil behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect and mutual understanding.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil wellbeing and educational outcomes.
• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching within the primary education sector, ideally with experience across key stages.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective pedagogical approaches for young learners.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning.
