Academics are currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in Portsmouth.

We have opportunities available for candidates looking for daily supply, short-term, long-term, temp-to-perm and permanent positions, with both full and part-time roles available.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will:

Have experience working with children, ideally within a school or education setting Be able to commit to school hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm Be reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable Have a genuine interest in supporting children's education Be able to work effectively as part of a school team Have a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for/pay for a DBS through Academics Be available for full-time or part-time workWhat Academics can offer:
