Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design strategy and conceptual development for major architectural projects.
- Provide expert technical guidance and quality assurance throughout the design and construction phases.
- Mentor and manage teams of architects and designers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Engage with clients, developers, and regulatory bodies to champion design vision and secure project approvals.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and urban design.
- Oversee the technical execution of designs, ensuring compliance and constructability.
Requirements
- A recognised professional qualification in Architecture (e.g., RSUA, RIBA, AIA).
- Extensive experience at a principal or director level, with a substantial portfolio of complex and large-scale projects.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire design teams.
- Deep understanding of architectural principles, construction technologies, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing client relationships and delivering projects within budget and programme.
