Our client is seeking an accomplished Principal Chemist to lead critical aspects of pharmaceutical development within their Milton Keynes facility. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and synthesis of complex organic molecules for drug discovery programs.

- Collaborate with biologists and pharmacologists to evaluate compound efficacy and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines and safety protocols in a remote setting.
Requirements
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern synthetic organic chemistry and reaction mechanisms.
- Proficiency in spectroscopic and chromatographic analytical techniques.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
