About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geological and geophysical exploration programs for geothermal resource assessment.
• Develop and refine numerical models for subsurface fluid flow, heat transfer, and reservoir performance.
• Oversee drilling operations, well logging, and data interpretation for geothermal exploration wells.
• Provide expert scientific advice on reservoir management, production optimisation, and risk assessment.
• Author technical reports, research papers, and present findings at international conferences.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement surface facilities for geothermal power generation.

Requirements

• PhD in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in geothermal exploration and reservoir characterisation.
• Demonstrated expertise in seismic data interpretation, well log analysis, and geological modelling software.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale geoscience projects and leading technical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of thermodynamic principles applied to geothermal systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
