About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Industrial Engineer to provide expert technical leadership and strategic direction for their operations in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and championing innovative engineering strategies that drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of advanced engineering principles and a passion for pushing the boundaries of operational excellence. You will mentor junior engineers and influence decision-making at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for operational efficiency and process improvement.

• Provide expert technical consultation and mentorship to engineering teams and operational management.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with a focus on strategic initiatives and leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of advanced manufacturing systems, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive large-scale change initiatives.
• Expertise in data analytics, predictive modeling, and complex system design.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
