About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Industrial Engineer to provide expert technical leadership and strategic direction for their operations in Belfast . Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for industrial engineering initiatives across the organization.
• Lead the design and implementation of major process improvement projects, ensuring successful integration and adoption.
• Provide expert technical consultation and mentorship to engineering teams and operational management.
• Develop and champion advanced methodologies, such as Industry 4.0 principles and automation strategies.
• Oversee the analysis of complex operational challenges and develop innovative, sustainable solutions.
• Represent the engineering department in high-level strategic planning meetings and external collaborations.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of extensive experience in industrial engineering, with a significant focus on strategic leadership and process transformation.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing , Six Sigma (Master Black Belt preferred), and advanced statistical analysis.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex engineering projects with significant business impact.
• Experience with supply chain optimization, facility design, and operations management.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
