Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for complex mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Oversee the design, analysis, and validation of intricate mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring project milestones are met effectively.
• Develop innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborate with senior management, product teams, and other engineering disciplines to define project scope and technical requirements.
• Champion best practices in mechanical design, simulation, and testing, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards in all projects undertaken.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership or principal role.
• Expertise in mechanical design principles , materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience with advanced simulation tools, including FEA and CFD, for complex system analysis.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects, ideally in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire technical teams.
