Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term mine plans and production schedules for multiple mining sites.
• Conduct feasibility studies, economic evaluations, and risk assessments for new and existing projects.
• Oversee the design and selection of mining equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards globally.
• Mentor and guide a team of mining engineers and technical staff remotely.
• Identify opportunities for technological adoption and process improvement to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mine planning, design, and operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in various mining methods (e.g., cut and fill, block caving, open pit).
• Proficiency with mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Surpac, J Moura) and simulation tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience working with cross-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
