Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and analysis of complex power systems, including transmission and distribution networks.
- Develop and implement advanced grid stability, load flow, and fault studies using state-of-the-art simulation tools.
- Provide expert guidance on power system planning, operation, and protection strategies.
- Mentor and develop a team of power systems engineers, fostering technical growth and expertise.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and resilience.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, grid operators, and other key stakeholders on technical matters.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
- 10+ years of extensive experience in power system analysis and design.
- Proven expertise in transient stability, dynamic modeling, and protection system coordination.
- Deep understanding of grid codes, regulatory frameworks, and market operations.
- Proficiency with industry-standard power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
