About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to lead recruitment operations from their Reading office. This senior role involves managing key client accounts, driving business development, and overseeing complex recruitment projects. You will be instrumental in shaping recruitment strategies, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. This position offers a flexible hybrid working model , blending productive office time with remote work, fostering a balanced and efficient approach within the Berkshire area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value client relationships.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet client demands.
- Lead complex search assignments, ensuring timely and successful placements.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the company's client base.
- Mentor and provide guidance to a team of recruitment consultants.
- Analyze market trends and provide strategic advice to clients and the internal team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in recruitment consultancy, with a strong track record of success.
- Proven ability in business development, client management, and leading recruitment teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Expertise in advanced sourcing techniques and recruitment technologies.
- Ability to effectively manage responsibilities in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.
- Experience within the Reading or broader Thames Valley market is highly desirable.
