Our client, a prestigious Recruitment Consultancy , is looking for a highly accomplished Principal Recruitment Consultant to lead and expand their operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . This senior position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of niche markets and a passion for building successful recruitment strategies. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, mentoring a team of consultants, and upholding the highest standards of service delivery, operating from our well-established Newcastle upon Tyne office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for complex and high-volume roles across various sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans tailored to client needs and market trends.
- Cultivate and nurture key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and expanding market share.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to junior and mid-level recruitment consultants.
- Analyse recruitment data and market intelligence to inform strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior recruitment role within a busy consultancy.
- Demonstrated success in leading recruitment teams and driving business growth.
- Expertise in candidate sourcing, assessment methodologies, and client relationship management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of employment law and recruitment compliance.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven, competitive environment and inspire team performance.
