About the Role
Our client seeks a strategic and highly experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to spearhead key client relationships and drive recruitment excellence within their Newcastle upon Tyne office. This role is pivotal in mentoring junior consultants and developing innovative recruitment strategies. You will be instrumental in handling complex and high-volume recruitment projects, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and candidates. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market trends and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a dynamic consultancy environment, blending remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for a portfolio of key clients, ensuring timely and successful placements.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to attract niche and in-demand talent.
- Mentor and coach a team of recruitment consultants, fostering their professional growth and performance.
- Conduct sophisticated market analysis and provide strategic advice to clients on talent acquisition and retention.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the client base and secure new recruitment mandates.
- Oversee quality assurance of candidate shortlists and client proposals, ensuring high standards are met.
Requirements
- Significant experience (7+ years) in recruitment consultancy , with a proven track record of success in complex hiring environments.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Expertise in advanced candidate sourcing techniques and talent market mapping.
- Exceptional client management and business development skills.
- Strong understanding of the UK employment market and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote autonomy with team collaboration in Newcastle upon Tyne .
