Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of complex research projects focused on identifying and validating novel drug targets.
• Develop and optimize innovative experimental strategies and assays to support early-stage drug discovery.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, drawing robust conclusions and making data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, biology, and DMPK, to advance projects.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and innovation.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in drug discovery.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in drug discovery research within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in target validation, assay development, and a deep understanding of disease biology.
• Proven ability to lead research projects, manage timelines, and deliver results.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong publication record.
• Proficiency with data analysis software and presentation tools.
