Principal Scientist - Gene Therapy

Key Responsibilities

• Lead independent research programs in gene therapy vector development and delivery systems.
• Design and oversee complex in vivo and in vitro studies to evaluate therapeutic efficacy and safety.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to meet R&D objectives.
• Author scientific publications, patent applications, and present findings at international conferences.
• Provide mentorship and scientific guidance to a team of researchers and technicians.

Requirements

• PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Virology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in gene therapy research, with a strong publication record.
• Deep understanding of viral vector biology (e.g., AAV, lentivirus) and gene editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR).
• Proficiency in various molecular and cell biology techniques, including vector production and purification.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and analysis of large-scale genomic data.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
