Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of research programs focused on developing novel gene therapy vectors and delivery systems.
• Develop and optimize gene editing and gene replacement strategies for therapeutic applications.
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of gene therapy candidates.
• Collaborate with vector engineering, pharmacology, and regulatory affairs teams.
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data, ensuring scientific rigor and reproducibility.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the strategic direction of the gene therapy pipeline.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in gene therapy research, with a strong track record of innovation and publications.
• Deep understanding of viral and non-viral gene delivery methods.
• Hands-on experience with gene editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9) and nucleic acid therapeutics.
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques and cell-based assays.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage complex research projects.
