Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale genomic studies, including whole-genome and exome sequencing projects.
• Develop and optimize novel genomic analysis pipelines and bioinformatics workflows.
• Interpret complex genomic data to identify genetic variants associated with disease.
• Mentor and manage a team of scientists and researchers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including clinicians and academic institutions.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in genomics, bioinformatics, and related fields.

Requirements

• PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant research experience, with a strong track record in genomics.
• Extensive experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and data analysis.
• Proficiency in genomic analysis software, scripting languages (e.g., Python, R), and database querying.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a history of scientific publications.
