Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Lead technical design discussions and provide mentorship to software engineering teams.
- Define and enforce best practices for software development, testing, and deployment in distributed environments.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and system limitations.
- Collaborate with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks to improve system capabilities.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, patterns, and challenges (e.g., consistency, availability, consensus).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in distributed systems (e.g., Go, Java, C++, Scala).
- Experience with message queues, distributed databases, and caching systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
