Process Chemical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Chemical Engineer to contribute to their operations based in Birmingham . Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement process changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations in Birmingham .
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all chemical processes.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.
• Participate in SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in a process engineering role within the chemical industry.
• Familiarity with process control systems and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of chemical reaction engineering and separation processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for a hybrid working model.
