Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Create detailed process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment specifications using specialized software.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed process designs, identifying potential challenges and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and operations specialists, in a remote setting to refine designs and ensure seamless integration.
- Optimize existing processes for improved performance, reduced environmental impact, and cost savings.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation in process design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process design and development within industrial settings.
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fully remote team environment, demonstrating strong communication skills.
