Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop and optimize new chemical processes and formulations.
- Scale up processes from laboratory bench to pilot plant and commercial manufacturing, ensuring reproducibility and efficiency.
- Characterize chemical reactions and material properties using analytical techniques and interpret results to guide process improvements.
- Develop robust process control strategies and operating procedures for new and existing chemical manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate closely with R&D scientists, chemists, and engineers to translate research findings into viable manufacturing solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with a strong focus on process development.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in process development, scale-up, or pilot plant operations within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation techniques.
- Experience with laboratory and pilot-scale equipment, including reactors, distillation units, and filtration systems.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy is beneficial.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
