Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes and manufacturing processes for new products.
- Conduct experiments, analyze data, and scale-up processes from lab to pilot and production scales.
- Design and execute validation studies to ensure process robustness and reproducibility.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve process efficiency, yield, and safety.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate closely with R&D scientists, analytical chemists, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in process development, scale-up, or manufacturing support, preferably in the fine chemicals or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in chemical reaction engineering and process modeling.
- Experience with statistical design of experiments (DoE) and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of analytical techniques for process monitoring and characterization.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
