About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Process Development Engineer to join their innovative team in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
- Develop and implement new process technologies and methodologies, conducting thorough testing and validation.
- Design and execute experiments to optimise process parameters and troubleshoot production challenges.
- Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of process changes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and training materials for process changes.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and environmental standards throughout process development and implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in process development, optimisation, or manufacturing engineering roles.
- Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
- Experience in scale-up operations and technology transfer from pilot to full-scale production.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and equipment relevant to the chemical industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
