Process Development Engineer

About the Role

This role is crucial for developing and optimizing novel chemical processes from laboratory scale to pilot plant and beyond. You will play a key part in translating scientific discoveries into viable manufacturing processes, ensuring scalability, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize new chemical processes.
• Conduct pilot-scale trials, analyze data, and provide recommendations for process improvement.
• Develop robust process documentation , including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during process development and scale-up.
• Collaborate with chemists and engineers to ensure seamless technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Ensure all development activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in process development or chemical process R&D.
• Experience with laboratory and pilot-scale equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Strong understanding of chemical reactions, separation techniques, and process control.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
