About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented Process Development Engineer to join their esteemed team in Coventry, West Midlands . In this critical role, you will focus on the development and scale-up of innovative chemical processes from laboratory to pilot plant and full production. You will be at the forefront of experimental design, data analysis, and process optimization, contributing directly to the creation of novel products and the enhancement of manufacturing capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute experimental plans to develop and optimize chemical manufacturing processes.
• Analyze experimental data to identify key process parameters and drive improvements.
• Develop scale-up strategies and methodologies for transferring processes from lab to pilot and commercial scale.
• Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Author detailed reports, documentations, and process flow diagrams for new and modified processes.
• Ensure all process development activities adhere to strict safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in process development , scale-up, and optimization within a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE).
• Familiarity with common chemical laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
• Strong understanding of chemical kinetics, reaction engineering, and separation technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
