About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Process Development Engineer to join their team. This hybrid role, located near Wolverhampton , focuses on designing, testing, and implementing new manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, product quality, and safety. You will play a critical part in the innovation cycle, translating concepts into scalable production methods. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate new manufacturing processes from concept to implementation.
- Conduct experiments and pilot trials to optimize process parameters and ensure scalability.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate new product designs into manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during process implementation and ongoing production.
- Document process procedures, specifications, and performance data comprehensively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process development or manufacturing engineering.
- Solid understanding of chemical processes or mechanical manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
