About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes from laboratory scale through to commercial viability.
• Conduct experimental work, data analysis, and process validation to ensure robust and reproducible results.
• Design and specify pilot-scale equipment and processing units.
• Perform risk assessments and HAZOP studies for new and modified processes.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with research scientists, engineers, and manufacturing teams in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development or scale-up.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques relevant to chemical processes.
• Knowledge of process safety principles and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to remote collaboration tools.
