Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new chemical processes and optimise existing ones for improved efficiency and yield.
- Conduct process simulations, modelling, and pilot studies to validate process designs.
- Troubleshoot complex process issues and develop effective, sustainable solutions.
- Ensure processes comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality assurance teams to support product and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating manuals, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Significant experience in process engineering, focusing on chemical manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and unit operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in a remote setting.
