Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-oriented Process Engineer to join their team in Manchester . This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's core operational processes. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements across production and service delivery, focusing on optimizing resource utilization and streamlining workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Design, develop, and implement process improvements using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Work directly with production staff and management to implement changes and provide necessary training.
• Monitor the performance of implemented processes, collecting data and analyzing results to ensure effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and develop corrective actions to maintain operational integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a process engineering or similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent observational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Willingness to work on-site in Manchester as required by project demands.
