About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and innovative Process Engineer to join their manufacturing operations based in Manchester . This role is essential for optimizing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain superior product quality. You will work hands-on with production teams, analyzing existing methodologies, designing new processes, and implementing technological advancements. This is a key position for driving operational excellence within our manufacturing facilities, contributing directly to the company's success and its reputation for high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment.
Conduct trials and testing of new processes, collecting and analyzing data to validate improvements.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training to production staff.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure seamless process integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues that arise during production.

Requirements

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of process simulation, optimization techniques, and statistical analysis.
Experience with CAD software and process modeling tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams.
