About the Role

Our client has an immediate opening for a dedicated Process Engineer to join their operations in Manchester . This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on optimizing intricate manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and output. You will work directly with production teams on the factory floor, identifying and resolving operational challenges, and implementing innovative solutions to drive efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Train production staff on new processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering .
• At least 3 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of process control systems and data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a manufacturing plant environment in Manchester .
