About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join their established team in Coventry . This role is crucial for identifying and implementing enhancements across various operational functions, aiming to boost productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall business performance. You will work closely with operational teams to understand current processes, facilitate workshops, and deploy data-driven solutions. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on efficiency and profitability within a key industrial hub of the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in identifying process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
- Conduct detailed process mapping and analysis to visualize current state and design future state workflows.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to measure performance and identify key drivers of inefficiency.
- Develop business cases for proposed improvements, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations.
- Train and mentor site personnel on process improvement tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering , Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in a process improvement or operational excellence role.
- Certified Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, comfortable working across different departments in Coventry .
